CBC’s Secret Santa Project began in 1995 as a way to help fill the Christmas wish lists of children with life-threatening illnesses. The families helped through this special program endure long-term treatments that become strenuous and routine for years. Your participation helps brighten the lives of these children & their families and provides a tremendous amount of Christmas joy!
Mrs. Claus is always looking for extra elves to help with shopping, wrapping, bagging-getting everything ready for that magical ride that Santa will take on Christmas Eve to deliver all over the Delaware Valley.
Would you like to join us in the merriment? You can help in any number of ways…
1. Donate new toys or clothing for a specific family …we will provide you with a “wish list” of suggestions: sizes, ages, sex of the children, so you know exactly who/what to shop for!
2. Hold a Toy Drive/Drop Off …ask co-workers, friends and family members to participate in donating a new, unwrapped toy which will be distributed at the annual CBC Children’s Holiday Party: Sunday, Dec. 13th, 2009 - 1PM, Sheraton City Center, 17th & Race Sts., Philadelphia
3. Write a check …In lieu of an office or classroom pollyanna, transfer the dollar amount to CBC to provide gifts so a family will have a Christmas!
4. Get creative …Instead of bringing a bottle of wine or spirits to the next office party suggest bringing a gift for the children & their families! How about: Gift cards, Food Baskets, Monetary Donations, the list goes on and on…
For additional information and/or to participate, please contact CBC Executive Director, Carleen Siegle, at 215-427-5061 or via email: carleen@cbckids.org Thank You for Your Continued Support!
